The People’s Emergency Briefing Film  – Fri 21st August

Posted on 07 August 2026

Worried about nature loss/wild weather? Confused about the truth and what you can do about it? Then this new 45 min film is for you!

In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people in Westminster. That evidence is now on the public record.

The aim of the film is to bring together people from in local communities across the UK to hear the evidence and discuss how to respond – together with their MP.

This showing of the film and discussion afterwards is being facilitated by CREW at Beach House Park, Worthing on Fri 21st August at 7pm – 9pm

If you want to get more of an idea what the film is about, please read this report from our local partners Greening Steyning:

Greening Steyning have also created a really helpful “How can I make a difference” page on their website: https://greeningsteyning.org/project/toptips/ and do check out this interesting blog from one of their members:

Just to give people some ideas about how to help make a difference, we created a leaflet that we’ve been handing out for many years now, which can be found on our website in the Climate Transformation Section under “Resources“:

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead.

If we ALL do just a little, it can ripple out and help make a huge impact overall.
