People’s Assembly on Transport – Report
Transition Town Worthing and Worthing CREW Transport Group organised a People’s Assembly on Transport on Tuesday 22nd July at Audio Active, Montague Street, Worthing. The aim was to promote more active travel and public transport and to bring our ideas to the attention of our local authorities, that in turn will help them become carbon neutral.

Update on Goring Gap
In recent months, planning applications to develop part of the Goring/Ferring Gap triggered strong concerns and widespread objections. Recently, the decision was made to form a Community Trust, ready to purchase land if the opportunity arises, funded by a future crowdfunding campaign. We’re looking for people to get involved and help shape the future of the Gap.
